Campus Program
The Campus Program is a federal grant through the Office of Violence Against Women that focuses on reducing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking on college campuses. In 2007, West Virginia State University received this three year grant that is designed to encourage colleges/universities to adopt comprehensive, coordinated responses to these violent crimes on college campuses. In partnership with WVSU, the West Virginia Coalition Against Domestic Violence and other allied organizations is committed to addressing the violent crimes against women by developing campus-based responses such as campus victim services, campus law enforcement, health services, housing authorities, campus administration, student organizations and disciplinary boards.
